Is the dragon printed on?
No. It is cloisonné — each colour sits inside a raised metal wire and is fired in place. You can feel the ridges between the fields with a fingertip.
Will the enamel chip?
Fired enamel is hard, but it is still glass. The gold rails stand proud of the panel to take knocks first. Chips from normal handling are covered.
Does it arrive filled?
No — lighters ship empty. Refill with standard butane through the valve at the base.
Is it available in silver?
The panel is produced in both gold and silver. Ask us through the contact form if you would prefer silver.
