Draft — not yet reviewed. This page describes how the shop is built today. It must be checked by a qualified adviser and completed with your actual processors — payment provider, carrier, email tool, analytics — before you rely on it. Every processor you add changes what belongs here. The bracketed fields below still need filling in.
We ask for as little as we can, use it only to get your order to you, and never sell it. This page sets out what that means in practice.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is [legal entity name], [registered address]. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights below, use the contact form.
2. What we collect
When you order: your name, email address, shipping address and postal code. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment provider and never reach our servers.
When you browse: your basket is held by Shopify so the shop remembers it between visits, together with the cookies Shopify sets to run the store and its checkout.
3. Why we hold it, and on what basis
Order and address data is processed to perform the contract you entered into. Records needed for tax and accounting are kept because the law requires it. If you subscribe to our newsletter, that rests on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
4. Who else sees it
Only the parties needed to complete your order: Shopify as our store platform, our payment provider, the carrier that delivers your parcel, and our email provider. Each acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
5. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires — currently seven years in the Netherlands. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Anything we no longer need is deleted.
6. Your rights
In the European Union you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and portability, and you may object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
7. Cookies
The shop uses the cookies Shopify requires to keep a basket and run checkout. If analytics or advertising tools are added later, this section must be updated and a consent banner added alongside them.
